Schleich 14847 - Vulture.
The Vulture from Schleich is a mature griffon vulture. It lives all over Europe, North Africa and Asia. The bird of prey prefers living in open landscapes, on cliffs or in gorges. It has reddish brown plumage, grey-black wings, and an almost featherless neck with a ring of white down around it. Vultures are particularly important to the ecosystem. They eat dead animals that could otherwise spread disease.
