Domestic geese are descended from wild grey geese. They are very loyal animals who feel most comfortable in large flocks of geese and remain with their partner for their whole lives. Domestic geese are extremely sociable, intelligent animals with a good memory. They can remember encounters with people and animals for a long time – even after we have forgotten all about them.
