Schleich 14641 African Buffalo Calf.
Cape buffalos form family packs of 3-10 animals. Occasionally, however, they also form herds of several hundred animals. A female leads the herd, while an adult male takes the highest rank. During the day, they wallow, rest in the shade or move on within their area. However, they do not leave this without necessity. At night, the Cape buffalo eat their food and eat grass and hard reeds. Interesting facts: buffaloes climb up to 4000 m in the mountains and always live near water.
