Before his name to his home region in Scotland, the Clydesdale is a breed of draft horses capable of pulling heavy loads; nowadays, it is common to see them parade in the parades. Used to pull logs in the forests, these horses serve as mascots for big brewers. Known for their large size, Clydesdale horses usually see between 16 and 17 hands at the withers, some reaching the size of 2 hands. At birth, the foal weighs about 9 kg and grows by 2 kg per day during its first months.
