Schleich 13718 White Swan with Cygnets.
With a span of up to 2.40 metres and a weight of up to 13 kilograms mute swans rank among the largest birds able to fly. These birds with bright-white feathers owe their name to the fact that they are less vocal than other swan species. As part of their rearing behaviour at times the female mute swan takes her chicks on her back in order to protect them.
Introduced: 2013. Retired: 2017.
